Meadowbrook Community Gardens and Orchards
A volunteer-led community project that grows food locally and organically to provide its members and the Lake City food bank (North Helpline) with healthy food options. Open to all, its members grow perennial and annual fruits and vegetables, herbs, and a pollinator garden, all in Meadowbrook Park.
Meadowbrook Community Gardens and Orchards maintains non-profit status under the organization Seattle Parks Foundation, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.
